This drink combines 2 oz of tequila, 3/4 oz of triple sec, 3/4 oz of simple syrup, 2 oz of pomegranate juice, and 1 oz of fresh lime juice. Serve it in a sugar-rimmed glass for a festive touch. Ingredients
For the Rim
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- Lime wedge
For the Margarita
- 2 oz tequila
- 3/4 oz triple sec
- 3/4 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz pomegranate juice
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
Instructions
Sugar Rim
- Pour sugar onto a small plate, spreading it out wide enough for your cocktail glass.
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass to coat it with juice.
- Dip the rim into the sugar, pressing and turning the glass to ensure the rim is evenly coated. Set aside.
Margarita
- In a cocktail shaker, add ice, tequila, triple sec, simple syrup, pomegranate juice, and fresh lime juice.
- Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
- Strain the margarita into your Calder Coupe glass, with or without ice, depending on your preference.
