Ingredients
  

  • 2 parts bourbon
  • 3/4 part honey syrup*
  • 3/4 part freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Garnish: Lemon wedge

For the Honey Syrup:

  • 2 parts honey
  • 1 part hot water

Instructions
 

  • Make the honey syrup: In a small bowl, mix 2 parts honey with 1 part hot water. Stir until fully dissolved. Let it cool before using.
  • Shake it up: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add bourbon, lemon juice, and honey syrup.
  • Strain and serve: Shake well and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish: Add a lemon wedge on the rim or float it in the drink for an extra pop of citrus.
