Pear & Bourbon Ginger Bliss
A cozy yet refreshing fall cocktail that balances the warm, rich notes of bourbon with the crisp sweetness of pear and a touch of ginger spice. This elegant drink is perfect for sipping by the fireplace or elevating your next gathering.
For the Pear Ginger Simple Syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey or sugar
- 1 ripe pear peeled and diced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 piece of fresh ginger peeled
For the Cocktail
- 4 oz bourbon
- 2 oz pear nectar
- 2 oz pear ginger simple syrup
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
For Garnish
- Pear slices
- Sprig of rosemary

Pear Ginger Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine water, honey, diced pear, cinnamon stick, and ginger.
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the honey.
Once simmering, lower the heat and let it reduce for about 5-7 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool completely.
Strain out the solids (pear, ginger, cinnamon stick) and pour the syrup into an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, add bourbon, pear nectar, pear ginger simple syrup, and lemon juice.
Shake well with ice until chilled.
Strain into an Edge Highball glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a pear slice and a sprig of rosemary for a fragrant touch.
